OHBA is sponsoring a hands-on Inclusive Leadership Workshop on October 24, 2019. The focus of the workshop is to educate leaders in the legal profession about the ways that implicit bias impacts legal organizations and identify steps that leaders can take to both minimize that bias and increase empathy and inclusion, and RETENTION!
Participants will walk away with:
- A plan to take specific steps within their own law firms or organizations to increase the number of diverse attorneys;
- Ways to implement measures to increase retention; and
- Strategies to increase opportunities for diverse attorneys to serve in leadership andpositions of power and influence within their firms.
While the program primarily focuses on those in leadership roles, attorneys of all experience levels are encouraged to attend to learn about how implicit bias can impact them and their organizations.
