2023 Student Scholarships
We are please to offer one (1) $1,000 scholarship and three (3) $500 scholarships to Latine law students who demonstrate leadership skills, commitment to supporting the Latine community, and/or need. The scholarship is intended to cover expenses such as tuition, fees, books, or living expenses. Interested students should click the above to review and complete the application and email it along with a personal statement to mayra@nwjp.org no later than August 18, 2023.
The scholarship is intended to support students who demonstrate leadership skills, commitment to supporting the Latine community, and/or need. OHBA is awarding one(1) $1,000 scholarship to a Latine college student or graduate to offset expenses for an LSAT preparation course.Interested students should click the link above, review and complete the application and email it along with a personal statement to mayra@nwjp.org no later than August 18, 2023.
Networking Events
OHBA is committed to providing a forum for its members to exchange ideas and resources, network, and engage in activities that will further the professional development of its members.Our members are engaged in various affinity bar organizations, and networking with OHBA members and others is a wonderful way to expand your network of legal professionals and support people. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about the legal profession to join us at our events and activities.
Law Student Association Board Liason
We offer all three Oregon law school Latine/x law student associations the opportunity to have a member join the OHBA Board of Directors monthly meetings as a Liaison. Please reach out for more information about attending board meetings. Email us at board@oregonhispanicbar.org for more details!
